Tsunami
Dear Editor,
it is first day of Easter today, and we have just had a big breakfast, starting with a shared egg, finishing with an awfully white sausage. Such a lovely, quiet, day. After such a night.
We are behind a glass. It’s like a viewing terrace on the Tour de Montparnasse. The sun shines through the brownish, blueish, greenish; simply old windows. Inside the whole setting and cleanness is like in Poland in ‘70.
The tsunami wave comes and is so high that it covers the sun. All becomes black. Negative of itself. The water is outside, the water is inside. Different objects float on it.
I am a bit angry, disappointed: I don’t know if I have managed to take a good picture. I am worried that my photographic equipment will be soaked in water.
Now, how should I interpret this dream? Should I get myself new wellingtons and a rain jacket? Should I change my cleaning lady? Or maybe – I would fear to hear it from you – learn how to swim?
Impatiently awaiting your reply,
Sognatore Stanco
